The Exchange server&nbsp; crashed and restarted or fixed and brought back to life .<\/p>\n<p>2. Backup software cause error on the database.<\/p>\n<p>3. The mailbox got soft deleted and re-connect to user<\/p>\n<p>4. more unpredictable connection error etc<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To resolve this issue, please use the following steps:<\/p>\n<p>1. By using the command \u201c<em>Get-MailboxStatistics -Identity AliasName |fl<\/em>\u201d obtain the following mailbox settings:<\/p>\n<p>a. Database<\/p>\n<p>b. MailboxGuid<\/p>\n<p>c. ServerName<\/p>\n<p>2. By using the command \u201c<em>Get-MailboxDatabase -Identity \u201cDataBaseName\u201d |fl<\/em>\u201d obtain the following database settings:<\/p>\n<p>a. Guid<\/p>\n<p>3. Launch the Registry editing tool (\u201cRegedit\u201d) in the Exchange 2010 server that hosting the user mailbox and navigate to:<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SYSTEM\\CurrentControlSet\\services\\MSExchangeIS\\%ServerName%<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>4. Under the registry key (that was opened in step \u201c3\u201d), find the database GUID (that was obtained in step \u201c2\u201d, e.g. Private-dad6b75a-f6df-42c6-b1c4-8c63c5ef123f\u201d, when the database GUID represent in the suffix behind the \u201cPrivate-\u201c.<\/p>\n<p>5. Navigate to \u201c<em>QuarantinedMailboxes<\/em>\u201d registry key:<\/p>\n<p>6. Find the relevant MailboxGuid (that was obtained in step \u201c1\u201d) and delete it.<\/p>\n<p>7.
