{"id":2210,"date":"2022-03-27T23:11:35","date_gmt":"2022-03-27T21:11:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/itsimple.info\/?p=2210"},"modified":"2022-04-20T13:50:07","modified_gmt":"2022-04-20T11:50:07","slug":"how-to-enable-gui-access-on-fortigate-firewallthrough-cli-console","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/itsimple.info\/?p=2210","title":{"rendered":"How to enable GUI Access on Fortigate \/ VM Firewall Through CLI console"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>When installing Fortigate-VM you will need to start the settings from CLI in order to get GUI access, you will need to setup interface for admin access. here is the steps :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Fortinet_Lab # config system interface<\/li><li>Fortinet_Lab (interface) # edit port1<\/li><li>Fortinet_Lab (port1) # set ip 10.80.144.150\/24<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Fortinet_Lab (port1) # set allowaccess ping http https fgfm<ul><li>ssh SSH access.<\/li><li>snmp SNMP access.<\/li><li>telnet TELNET access.<\/li><li>radius-acct RADIUS accounting access.<\/li><li>probe-response Probe access.<\/li><li>capwap CAPWAP access.<\/li><li>ftm FTM access.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Fortinet_Lab (port1) #&nbsp;<strong>set allowaccess ping http https fgfm ftm ssh &gt;&gt;&nbsp;<\/strong>Remember to allow the https and http connection to firewall on this port. You can also allow other options to connect to firewall but those will need to be specifically allowed under each port where you want to connect from your network.
